Our process
A transparent, repeatable workflow from booking through delivery.
Book Your Session
Schedule online or by phone. Choose the service that fits your needs — whether that is a standard ClinicalQ assessment, a multi-scan comparison, neurofeedback training, or a follow-up scan. We will confirm your appointment and send preparation instructions.
Prepare
Follow the Session Preparation Guide sent with your confirmation. Wash your hair with shampoo only (no conditioner or products), avoid caffeine for at least 4 hours, alcohol for 24 hours, and recreational substances for 72 hours. Eat normally, sleep normally, and continue prescribed medications.
Consent & Intake
Complete the informed consent form, non-medical disclaimer, liability release, and intake questionnaire before your session begins. If a clinician is involved, a consultation consent form is also required. These forms establish clear boundaries about what our services are and are not.
Record
Electrodes are applied to the scalp using conductive gel. Impedance is verified at each site. Brain activity is recorded for 10–30 minutes, typically including eyes-open and eyes-closed segments. The process is completely non-invasive — no electricity is delivered to your body.
Process & Analyze
Raw EEG data is processed through our quantitative analysis pipeline: power spectral analysis, amplitude ratios, coherence metrics, normative database comparisons, and topographic mapping. Processing is deterministic — same input data and settings produce the same output.
Report & Deliver
Your informational brain activity report is prepared and delivered within 3–7 business days (rush processing available for 24–48 hours). Reports include key metrics, observed patterns, and normative context. The normative framework used is always clearly labeled.
Follow Up
Data consultation is available for you or your clinician. Reports and raw data can be sent to authorized clinicians with your written consent. Follow-up scans are available for tracking changes over time.
What Happens to Your Data
- All data stored in encrypted, password-protected systems
- EEG data retained for 5 years, legal documents for 7 years
- Data is never sold or shared without explicit authorization
- You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data at any time
EEG Paradox Solutions provides non-clinical EEG/qEEG recording, mapping, and informational reporting services. Clinical diagnosis, treatment, and medical interpretation should be performed by appropriately licensed professionals.
